What keeps me going are the wonderful comments I get from the wonderful people who read my articles. One of the sweet people in my Pluto group told me that I make her laugh out loud. That is one of the best compliments you can give a Gemini.I think about what makes things funny and it is, always, a risk. Sometimes, I wonder if I take too many risks, but if it makes you laugh and brightens your day, it is well worth it. Thank you, again, for every kind word you say to me. It lights up my heart! Onto the subject of what constitutes attraction. I do not have the last word, but I will share my experience
1. Compatible Moons
For a short term relationship, one can have Moons that are not compatible. I think of one girl( and she will know who she is). She was very hostile to me when I told her that Moon squares do not bode well for a long term relationship. When the relationship ended, she came back and apologized and we became friends. My first place to look in any relationship chart is the Moons. The most compatible Moon aspect is Moon trine Moon. Second would be Moon conjunct Moon. Remember that the Moon is one’s gentle, simple, basic and emotional heart. When you take off all the make up,so to speak, that is your Moon. If you expect a relationship to work long term, you need to accept our partner sans make up. I love dogs. You know how a dog accepts you? If you have a very compatible Moons, it will be the second best thing to a dog.
2. Compatible Venus
It is really nice to have compatible Venus’ signs. However, it is not necessary to a long term relationship. If you have compatible Venus signs, you will like the same things. I am attracted to Aquarius Venus.I have a Gemini Venus. We are both intellectual. We like space. I find that we like a similar manner of dress, style and taste, which is what Venus exemplifies. So, this is very nice.
Let’s discuss some other Venus combinations. Scorpio Venus would go well with Cancer Venus. They are both deep. They are both loyal. They are both protective. They have a similar stance on what they VALUE in life. Venus represents that which we value.
Let’s take another example. Capricorn and Taurus Venus would be compatible Taurus Venus. Both value material comfort. Both can set long term goals and see them through. Both may like building and decorating a house. They may like entertaining and being popular in the prestigious social groups.
3. Suns
The Suns have more room for error, so to speak, than the Moons. I have seen incompatible Suns make a relationship work but the Moon and Mercury were compatible. The Sun is one’s ego. The Sun is one’s basic identity, but the Moon is one’s heart. The Moon trumps the Sun. If you have incompatible Suns, such as a Virgo and a Gemini, you will have a different perspective on life. The Gemini will be lax. The Virgo will be a planner and a maker of life systems. They can work together and, even, learn from each other, if they are kind to each other. The Moons will determine this.
4. Mercury
There has to be some good Mercury connections for the relationship to work at all.. Mercury is the mind. If there are no intellectual connections, the relationship will not work. We all have met people with whom we cannot forge a bond, no matter how hard we try. This would, likely< be due to incompatible Mercuries.A very compatible Mercury aspect is Moon/mercury in good aspect, such as the trine, conjunction or sextile. This makes for a lovely mind/heart bond. Other compatible Mercury aspects are trines, sextiles and conjunctions.
Sun/Venus Trines, Sextiles and Conjunctions
This is a pure love or what could be called a “marriage” aspect.
Moon/Venus Trines, Sextiles or Conjunctions
These aspects are a lovely kind of acceptance and deep sense of caring. I find these aspects work the same way in all relationships. I have friends with VERY different world perspectives, but we seem to love each other.
Asteroids
Asteroids really, really refine the relationship picture. There are powerful love asteroids, such as Valentine(great sacrificial love), Vesta( amazing personal sacrifice), Juno( loyalty and devotion) and Ceres( powerful unconditional love). There are asteroids which bode poorly for a relationship, such as Sado(sadism), Nessus(abuse), Bilk( taking monetary advantage of someone) and Nemesis( a hidden enemy). My theory is that the asteroids can not overcome the planets. They can refine what is already there. They can make it more positive or more negative. Bad asteroids can ruin a good synastry, but good asteroids cannot overcome a bad synastry. That is the simplest way to say it.
I hope you have gotten something of value from this article!
