Venus Retrograde is one of the hardest retrograde planet, if not THE hardest. This may be an opinion, but I will explain why I have it. Love is what makes life beautiful. Anything that makes love harder than it already is is something that makes life much more difficult. Love is a balm to the harshness of life. With Venus Retrograde, the native feels very uncomfortable with love. Everyone is, somewhat, uncomfortable with love. Love involves risk. Love makes one vulnerable. However, with the Venus Retrograde native these fears are amplified.
The native may spend a great deal of time figuring out HOW to love. She may think and think and think about the way to do it However, when it comes time to love, she may pull away in fear. There is nothing SHE did to make this happen. She really cannot control it, per se. Venus Retrograde comes under the heading of a very difficult chart aspect. That is the best one can say about it. I will add that a true relationship with God overcomes the chart. The chart is material. God is spiritual. The spiritual world trumps the material.
