I crack myself up. Why not?
I used the dog motif in a Chiron article and I thought it was a great idea. I love dogs. Life is not good unless one has a canine companion. Mine is lying by my feet right now. Her name is Mimi and she is a long haired silke terrier and a genius( aren’t all of our dogs?)
Back to the dog motif and aspects.
The conjunction is the strongest of the aspects. The conjunction can be a positive blessing, such as Jupiter conjunct the Sun or a hardship aspect, such as Uranus conjunct the Sun. I have articles explaining this, so will not do that now.
With the dog motif, the dog has his chew toy in his MOUTH with the conjunction.
With the trine, you and the dog are enjoying the chew toy together, playing casually in the sandbox. He is not growling like a motorcycle on idle. You are not getting frustrated and wanting to make him into dog food.
With the opposition, he grabs the toy and runs away. You chase him and grab it back and put it in your pocket. He steals it from your pocket and races to the end of the park. You go running like a wild man and yank it back. This goes on forever thus.
With the square, you both sit there with resolute expressions. No one will give up the toy, even if you sit there for eternity
With the quinxunx, you look at each other with a puzzled expression. There must be SOME way to make this work.
WOOF. Hope you enjoyed reading this, as much as I did writing,
