Lack of Empathy in the Natal Chart

girl ink blot

First of all, this topic gets me into more trouble than any other. Second of all, it is an important topic, so I will not eschew commenting on it. Third of all, one can look around the world and see lack of empathy, so hiding one’s head in the sand will not help. Fourthly, one’s chart shows one’s blueprint, as in the manner of a house blueprint, so one needs to study with an open mind. Fifthly, one is not to blame for one’s chart. Hence, one needs to accept the nature of one’s chart. Only then, can one make the best of it. *Sigh* That was a mouth full. Now, onto our topic.

In my study of empathy( or lack thereof), I see three major factors. There are, probably, more. However, I find that these factors tell us a great deal about the trait of empathy, so I will address them in this article. They are the Moon, the Element of Water and Jupiter.

The Moon
There are cold Moons. I have a warm Moon–Cancer.Mine does not have afflictions(hard aspects). I have a great deal of empathy. I am not saying this to brag. God gave me my chart. I had nothing to do with it.

Empathy is a RESPONSE, such as burping or swallowing. Empathy is not a THOUGHT. It does not originate from the world of ideas. It originates from one’s gut/one’s emotions. The fighting I get centers around that empathy can be derived from thinking. I don’t think it can. This is my opinion and based on my life experience, as well as doing thousands and thousands of charts.

Can a Moon like Cancer lack empathy due to afflictions? I would say yes, but I really do not know, so that is a pure guess. There are so many topics to explore in Astrology that one can never master all of them. Hence, I tell you when I am not sure how an afflicted Cancer Moon would play out.

I will leave the topic of afflictions to the Moon because I don’t know enough to comment and will center on the Moon SIGNS, themselves. Cancer Moon is in it’s Home, so it functions the best when it comes to the world of emotions. Taurus Moon is Exalted, so that Moon would be second.

Now, we come to the other Moons. Pisces is very empathetic, as is Scorpio. However, these Moons have other issues, in that Pisces is too emotional and Scorpio is too intense.

Capricorn is a head over heart Moon. He may “reason out” a solution to problems, rather than “feel out” a solution. However, Capricorn Moon seems to have empathy.

Libra Moon, the Moon in the Fall, seems to be the least empathetic. I can say that my personal dealings with many, many Libra Moons reinforce this belief.

Gemini Moon may think before she feels, as will Aquarius, but they do not lack empathy. Their empathy level seems to be lower than the water Moons. The Fire Moons would fall into the same category as the Air Moons.

If one was trying to ascertain the empathy level of a native, the Moons would be the place to begin.

Jupiter

Jupiter is a major playing in conscience. I discovered this by doing the charts of four sociopaths and one malignant narcissist. Jupiter had a very clear pattern in the charts of the sociopaths. It was VERY AFFLICTED. It was so afflicted that it was a “Monster in the Closet” Jupiter. In two cases, almost every planet was in hard aspect to Jupiter. I don’t know if other people have studied this, but the charts are my teachers.

The Element of Water

Elements are very important. I am an Earth Void and I am space cadet alley. I am space cadet when it comes to practical things. One day, I was asking someone how to arrange jars in my cabinet. The person did not know me well and I could feel the wheels turning in her head–what an idiot this person is.
When I am confronted with trying to organize, I shut down. It feels, almost, painful to do practical things of this nature.

I have many articles on the Elements because I believe they are very important to studying each native.

Water is the world of the emotions. Water Voids do not function well in the world of the emotions, which includes subtle emotional cues, known as subtext. Sense of humor would be a kind of subtext. Water Voids may be too literal when it comes to humor. They may miss all but the most obvious jokes.

It is not the fault of the Water Void that she has an almost alien like relationship with emotions. Nothing in the chart is one’s fault. I should tattoo this on my chest, along with “what is the orb/”

Back to empathy, low water is a factor in lack of empathy for the reasons listed above.

As always, let’s discuss this. One of the traits of which I am most proud is that I love to foster discussion. If not, how will we all learn?

Simple, Simple Ways to Use Ten Asteroids

Asteroids can be intimidating. I have come to the rescue. Here is a list of asteroids, complete with numbers and simple phrases, so you can plug them into the chart and be an Astrowizard( number 24626) I have this conjunct my Ascendant. If you understand your asteroids, you will have gold mines of insight into yourself!

1. Aura(1488)

That which conjuncts your Aura, you will PROJECT. I have Dejanira conjunct my Aura. That is the victim asteroid. People think they can victimize me. Luckily, very luckily, I have Big Bad Mr Pluto there, too, so it does not work too well for the people who think they can take advantage of me.
Let’s give some examples, though, so you can use Aura in your own chart. If Sedna conjuncts Aura, you will appear as if you have been betrayed.
If Eros conjuncts Aura, you will appear sexy.
If Apollo conjuncts Aura, you will be seen as very charismatic.
If Sappho conjuncts Aura, you will be seen as sexy, but sexy in more of a high brow way i.e Jackie Kennedy
If Eris conjuncts Aura, you may be seen as annoying.

2. Kaali(4227)

Kaali is one’s energy body. I studied acupuncture. There is an actual energetic body in all of us. The acupuncture needles work on this, so it is very real, although it is unseen. If Kaali is too visible, one can lose energy. One may get very drained when dealing with other people. Kaali conjunct the Ascendant, MC, Moon or Venus would be what I would call “very visible”

3.Bacchus(2063)

Bacchus is a wild dude. He stops at nothing. If he has sex, he has it with three people. If he drinks beer, he has ten. If he goes shopping, he gets twenty of the same thing *sigh*
I would be careful of anyone who had Bacchus in a prominent place such as the North Node, MC, Ascendant, the Sun or Mars.

4. Blewit(22927)

I have not used Blewit very much because I just discovered it. One of my beloved clients swears by it. Blewit connotes failing. Hence, if Blewit were conjunct Venus, one may fail in love. If Blewit conjunct the Moon, one may fail in one’s emotions. One may, also, have had a failed relationship with the mother. If it is conjunct Mars, one may fail at one’s goals. If it is conjunct the Ascendant, one may feel as if one’s life has failed, in general. If it is conjunct the MC, one may feel as if one’s career has failed.

5. Don Quixote (3552)

This asteroid is the ultimate optimistic, so much so that he does not see reality. Is this bad? I am not sure but this asteroid will reflect optimism and courage in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. Watch the “Man of La Mancha” and you will see what I mean. The song ‘The Impossible Dream” is from this play. It embodies this asteroid.
If one has Don Quixote conjunct the Sun, one will be great optimist and follow his dream, in spite of obstacles.. The same would be for the Mars placement. For the Venus placement, one may be overly optimistic when one is in love.

6. Nabokov(7232)

This asteroid connotes guilty pleasures, forbidden fruit, ill-gotten gains, not necessarily of a sexual nature. People with Nabokov in a prominent position may feel guilty about that which they indulge in in private. A prominent Nabokov would be conjunct the Ascendant, MC, Sun, Moon, Venus or Mars.

7 Pinocchio ( 12927)

Pinocchio lies but he is a terrible liar. Hence, the native with a prominent Pinocchio may try to lie but he will not do a very convincing job. A prominent Pinocchio would be conjunct the Ascendant, MC, Sun, or Mars.

8.Pan (4450)

Pan is the same as Bacchus, so check Number 3.

9.—Toro (1685)

Toro is a bully. Most people do not cop to being a bully, but now you know better. If Toro conjuncts a prominent place, such as the Ascendant, MC, Sun or Mars, watch out!

10. Zavist (7440)

Zavist is envy. People with a prominent Zavis may be envious. A prominent Zavist would be conjunct the Ascendant, MC, Sun, Moon, Mars or Venus.

Five Simple, Simple Ways To Use Asteroids

I appreciate all the kind people who tell me that my taking a complex subject and making it easy blesses them.I am so warmed by people who gain something from what I do.(Keep the praise coming—–Libra Ascendant.) Onto our study on how to use five more asteroids in a way that is simple and, hopefully, will bring insight to you.

1.Alma (390)

Alma means soul in Spanish. If one has a prominent Alma, one will have an emotional depth. I liken Alma to a Cancer Moon. A prominent Alma would be conjunct the Ascendant, MC, Sun, Moon, Venus, or Mars.

2.Angel(11911)

This asteroid seems to connote a person who is an angel to others. Also, I have seen it be prominent in those who have had angel encounters. Pretty cool! A prominent Angel would be conjunct the Ascendant, MC, Sun or Mars.

3. Circe( 34)

Circe has a magical kind of charisma. Literature wise, I would say Scarlett O’Hara embodies Circe.. If you have a prominent Circe, you will be magical and charismatic, too. A prominent Circe would be conjunct the Sun, Ascendant, MC, Venus, Mars or the Moon.

4. Church(10343)

This seems to be prominent in people who have a desire to find God.

5. Graves(18824)

This asteroid seems to be prominent in people who have endured a lot of deaths. A prominent Graves could be conjunct any major part of the chart such as the Ascendant, Mc, IC, North Node or any of the personal planets, which are the Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus and Mercury.

girl rainbow hands

This article came about because professionals in any field, usually, keep their private thoughts to themselves. I have seen it in my family with doctors. They tell the patient a garbled, many sylabbic mess. They tell other doctors( and their own families) a simple truth.

I try to break down the barrier between professional and layman. Why not? You deserve the best. With that being said, don’t hate me because I am beautiful.

1. Eris (136199) conjunct the Ascendant, North Node, Sun or Mars is annoying as all get out. Think Steve Urkel. If you have to be around them, take your Valium, so you don’t punch them in the face and find yourself slapped with a lawsuit.

2. Cupido (763) If you fall in love with a Cupido, don’t trust them. They can look like they care, while they are scheming to date the chick across the room. Cupido is the LOOK of love. Remember the word LOOK.

3. Child(4580) The Child Asteroid confers the best the actual child has to offer–innocence, openness, warmth, the ability to hope and the ability to dream. A person with a prominent child may have eternal optimism, right up until old age. A prominent child would be conjunct the Ascendant, MC, Sun, Moon, Mars and Jupiter.

4. Counsel( 3528) This is in honor of Randall Mixon, the head of Linda-goodman.com. He is studying to be a lawyer. This asteroid may be used in a variety of ways. It may be prominent if someone is destined to be a lawyer. In synastry, one could check if a particular lawyer was right for one. If your Counsel is conjunct his Blewitt(22927) RUN.

5. Casanova(7328) I did a chart in which the man’s Casanova was conjunct everything( slight exaggeration) I would run, if it were me.Don’t ask me how I know.

6. Aesculapia (88 ) I have this conjunct my mercury, exact. It makes one very interested in health. I am a layman who can deal with most any illness, except setting bones and surgery. Leave that to the pros.

7. Adonis(2101) If you want charisma out the whazzoo, make sure you come back as an Adonis conjunct the Ascendant a la Donald Trump. Adonis conjunct the Sun, Mars and the MC would do the same. In synastry, if the personal points on your chart( such as the Ascendant, MC, Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus etc) touch his Adonis, you will worship him.

8. Europa(52) Do you know how some people are so, effortlessly, glamorous? Europa confers glamor and charisma on the lucky recipients. Europa conjunct the Ascendant, Sun, MC and Mars would do the job.

9 Jung(11518) When I read Jung, I came home. No wonder, he conjuncts my Sun.

10. Destinn(6583) This asteroid shows destiny. You were made for a specific purpose if Destiny is prominent in your chart. Prominent would be the Ascendant, MC, Sun, and Mars. We would need to look more closely at your chart to see the specific nature of your destiny. For a start, check the house. In that sphere, you were meant to make an impact.

Ten ” No Go” Placements For Me and WHY?

girl red red lips

I know in this age of political correctness, one is never supposed to give a real opinion. Everyone is a warm fuzzy. Tra La la. That is the root of many of our societal problems, but that is a whole other story. Since man is not Tra La La, one must reveal the TRUTHS of life. I am sorry if it offends your sensibilities. If so, find a politically correct astrologer, of which there are many. That being said, each person experiences his own chart in his own unique way. This is my experience having studied thousands of charts over a seven year period. You may agree or disagree, but if we have a lively and educational discussion, it is all good.

1. Libra Moon
I have gotten the most asparagus thrown at me for my stance on Libra Moon. All I can say is Na Na. I don’t like or trust Libra Moons. They think with their heads, when their hearts SHOULD rule. The Moon is one’s deepest heart. It should FEEL, not think. Empathy is in the realm of feeling. Don’t tell me you can reason out empathy: only in your dreams.

2. Pisces Moon
These are sensitive souls. They have lots of empathy. What they lack is backbone. Check the Moons before you enter the foxhole with someone. If he has a Pisces Moon, change partners quick. He won’t have your back. This goes for standing up for you with gossiping women. Is that really any different?

3. Nemesis Asteroid (128) Touching Personal Points in the Synastry Chart

Nemsis conjunct your Ascendant, Moon, MC, IC, Descendant, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mercury, Mars or North Node. Nemesis means hidden enemy, the worst kind. Brutus, Brutus, how could you?

4. Nessus (7066) Touching Personal Points in the Synastry Chart

Nessus conjunct Ascendant, Moon, MC, IC, Descendant, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mercury, Mars or North Node. Yuck, Ick, Plop. Nessus is abuse and you don’t want to be on the tail end of it, unless you have issues, which many of us do, but that is for another article.

5. Saturn square Pluto in Synastry

This equals locked in cruelty. I will pass.

6. Someone’s Mars conjunct your Moon
Ick, once again. Ever feel like a group of cackling hens(women) were plotting against you. That is this aspect. Walk on by.

7. A person having an Unaspected Sun to your chart

This feels like a relationship with no simpatico. You can try to explain yourself to someone and they look blank. The relationship can NEVER go with this aspect. So, check out the charts, my Friends

8. A Person Having an Unaspected Moon to your chart

This relationship may be worse than the above. This is a person who may laugh at the things which make you cry. The simpatico is zero on a scal from one to ten. I think there is little/no hope for this relationship

9. Moon square Moon

Some people tell me they know Aunt Gladys and Uncle Fred who have been married for ninety years and have this aspect. Do you live inside the heads of Aunt and Uncle? I don’t believe it. Hearts locked in a tug of war cannot be that great. What can I say? I have thousands of charts under my belt.

Mars square Mars

This may have amazing chemistry in the beginning but then may become War of the Roses. Not for me—no go!

Stelliums—-The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

girl black dress legs open

This is dedicated to the people who harass me for sharing my opinions. News flash—-Don’t read me.

Stelliums are like a yellow highlighter pen.Stelliums highlight important parts of life. A stellium is three planets or more in a house or sign. Lately, I have been seeing huge stelliums. Some people have six planets in a house–YIKES.

There will be a sense of imbalance in the life of that person, but is it good or bad? That depends of the house. Let’s talk about that in this article.

First House Stellium

I think this is a great burden to the native. Our biggest problem, as human beings, is to try to minimize our ego. The happiest person focuses on giving to others. It is more blessed( which means happy) to give than to receive. Think of how happy you are to give someone a gift. It makes you much happier than buying something for yourself. That is how human beings are made. Most people don’t learn this lesson. Even if one does, it is ALWAYS a struggle. Hence, the First House Stellium native has a bigger dose of ego. This, usually, makes for lack of confidence. The person has a sense that she is operating on some kind of faulty premise but may have no idea how to get out of her own way.

Second House Stellium

This is the gold digger stellium. Check out the women who have married WAAAY up i.e Melania Trump. Many of them have this stellium. Are all second house stellium women gold diggers? No. However, all care very, very deeply for money. This would apply to either sex.

Third House Stellium

This native LIVES to communicate. I can understand that, as I have a Gemini Stellium but it is located in the Ninth House. Gemini rules the Third House so I can relate to these natives. She may be a writer, a singer or an artist but she will have a message and that is to TOUCH you. Open up and touch her back!

Fourth House Stellium
This stellium can be good or bad, depending on the planets. This stellium tells us about the childhood of the native. If Pluto is here, the native had a possibly violent early childhood home. If Jupiter or the Moon, they child had a blessed and happy childhood. If Saturn, one may have had too strict of an upbringing. If Mars, the home may have been unsettled. there may have been a background buzz of anger and irritation. If Uranus, the home may have been unconventional. There may have been unsettling ups and downs in the child’s life. The nature of the planets are important to any stellium.

Fifth House Stellium
This is the House of the Player. Are all men with fifth house stelliums players? No, but they are, likely, very creative and full of life. The Fifth House is Leo’s House. It is the House of the Child. These natives are so full of joy and vivacity that they are popular. Most players have a full fifth House, but not all people with Fifth House stelliums are players.

Sixth House Stellium

This is one of the harder ones. The natives may have health issues. The native may be too fastidious a la Felix Unger.

Seventh House Stellium

This is one of the harder ones. The native may be co-dependent. We all are, to a degree, but this native is, likely, much more so. The seventh House NEEDS a partner. Hence, this need may blind him to the reality of his partner. This is too defined by his partner.

Eighth House

This native may be blessed with depth or he may struggle with not being able to access his depth. In the former case, Pluto may reside within. In the latter case, it may be Saturn or Chiron. This House is very much dependent on it’s planets to determine how it will manifest. However, it is all about depth–emotional and sexual.

Ninth House

This is my stellium. It is the House of the intellect, foreign travel( or any travel, including reading and traveling from your easy chair} and astrology. I have Gemini Sun, Mercury and Venus, as well as Cancer Moon here. I think this house is a blessing because I am never bored. I study, study, study things. I am teaching myself Spanish. I read all the time. I study Astrology. I have an organic garden and I play the guitar. I could be alone for days and be happy and busy. I think this house is a blessing and I thank God for it

Tenth House

This is the house of the father and of career. Again, the planets within will tell us how the tenth house will affect the life of the native. With Pluto, there may be powerful ups and downs in career. With Uranus, there may be abrupt beginnings and endings. One may be given a job, out of the blue. One may be fired from the same job, out of the blue. If Saturn, one may struggle to get ahead. If Jupiter, one may get ahead easily. {As I am writing this, I see I should write an article on what each planet does to the house in which it resides.}

Eleventh House

This house can be impersonal. The native with a stellium may feel like Charlie Brown a la “I love humanity. It is people I hate” the natives may be eager to work in the Peace Corp or other such groups. The native may dream big dreams. They may spend a life pursuing dreams. Whether or not they come to fruition would depend on the rest of the chart, particularly aspects to the North Node.

Twelfth House

This is the hardest house. The native may turn inward, through no fault of his own. This is the house of the mystic. We know that the mystic may want to live in a cave or a monastery. He may want to be alone so he can explore his psychic/spiritual senses. If he does not do this, he will, likely, desire to retreat from the material world. He may do this through yoga, meditation, music or, simply, getting lost in a book.

Stelliums in The Signs

A yellow umbrella

I had a request for this article. My wish is to please. I love requests, so keep them coming.

I have a Ninth House stellium of Gemini Sun, Mercury, Venus and Cancer Moon. The Ninth House is Sagittarius’ house, so I am mini Sagittarius, if you will. I do feel Sagittarius like. I have amazing good fortune. Things seem to happen in a wonderfully, fortuitous way for me.

If I had to tell you of all my lucky breaks, I would have to fill a page. So, the stellium must be understood by HOUSE and Sign. For now, we will isolate the signs, but remember that there is more to the subject than just the sign!

Aries Stellium
This produces a “super Aries”. This produces a high octane Aries or an Aries on steroids, shall we say. If there was a sign that would remind me of steroid, it would be Aries. They have to be the biggest, the best and the most powerful.

The Aries stellium may make for a native who loves to compete. He is bold. He is direct. You know where you stand and he will fight for you. Not too shabby!

Taurus Stellium

This native is, likely, steady. His motto may be”the rabbit seems sexier but the tortoise wins the race”. Taurus has a kind heart. He does not like to hurt others. He may be slow to make a decision, but he will stand by it( and stand by you, too) His worst trait may be liking comfort too much. This extends to food, so he may have a secret stash of goodies, hidden away for tumultuous times. Not too bad of a fault, considering the nature of faults.

Gemini Stellium

This is mine. I would say that Gemini needs some stabilizing force or they are airheads and too shallow. A stabilizing force would be a strong Moon, such as Cancer(mine) and/or a strong Pluto. Gemini gets a strong rap for being too flighty. I don’t know because I am a Cancer Moon, so am not flighty. I can’t say I have experienced Gemini as flighty.

Geminis have a wonderful sense of humor, are witty and full of fun. Hence, the stellium would magnify the aforementioned traits. As far as flighty, I would have to experience this from other Geminis and I have not, but all Geminis I know have stable Moons, such as Taurus and Scorpio( intense but loyal, still), so I cannot speak from personal experience on this one!

Cancer Stellium

This is my Moon, so I know quite a bit about it. Cancer has it’s good and bad traits, as do all signs. I love it’s good traits. It’s bad traits do not drive me crazy because it’s good traits make up for it, in my mind, and I value them. The Cancer will be loyal until death or until you really betray them. When this happens, you will understand why they are a Cardinal sign. They are strong! They will not stand by and allow anyone to hurt someone they love. They become Superman, when you THOUGHT they were Clark Kent.

If they love you, they will love you, till death do you part. If you hurt them, they will make you wish you never knew them. *Sigh* The bad traits of Cancer are being fearful, wanting people to be bosom buddies i.e smothering and being very sensitive. These traits do not bother me, in the scheme of things, but some people differ. Vive the difference! We cannot all be alike. How boring would that be.

Leo Stellium
Leo has the sweetness( and innocence) of a child. No matter how tough he appears, he is a sweet babycakes underneath. He is generous. He is honest. He loves to surprise those he loves with amazing gifts. He brings joy to those he loves. On the negative side, he may be self centered.I don’t mind this, myself, but some people do.

Virgo Stellium

Virgo likes to have systems. Gemini is creative and does not like boundaries. I have a very close Virgo family member. We are the yin and the yang, but this can be wonderful, if one can make a bridge. One must appreciate the difference in the other. There is a lot to be learned from one’s squared or opposition signs.
One must appreciate the differences, but never expect the other to change, only to bend.

Virgo is a wonderful worker. He may not be the creative genius of the operation, but he will take great pride in his work. He, also, has a sweet humility. Not too shabby!

Libra Stellium

This is my Ascendant, so I can speak from experience. Libra needs, needs, needs balance. They seek harmony in all they do. They would rather NOT win, if it means someone will lose. They want both people to feel like winners. Libra likes beauty around them. They will, likely, have lovely surroundings, regardless of budget. They are famous for making beauty out of nothing.

The struggles are in having to be liked. This can make them sell out themselves, so as not to incur the anger of others. The balance is hard to find, but God has given the Libra many gifts and blessings. Along with roses come the thorns. This applies to Libra, as well as all signs.

Scorpio Stellium

Scorpio is a mysterious sign. They have wonderful qualities and not so wonderful ones. They are very loyal. They will stand by you, even if they have to stand alone. However, never, ever betray them. Think Michael Corleone in the Godfather. What a gorgeous guy, but I digress.

He highlighted the traits of Scorpio. Family was everything. You never knew what he was thinking. He was intense. He trusted few.He loved deeply and felt deeply.

Sagittarius Stelium

Sagittarius is wonderful sign, if you don’t want commitment. They want to be free to travel, free to find another chick(if they get bored) and, just generally, be free. They have a wonderful sense of humor. They have a great sense of fun. They are the proverbial “life of the party. They are, likely, popular. What is wrong?? They may run when commitment is on the table. You have been warned.

Capricorn

Capricorn is the sign of strength. He has the strongest shoulders of the Zodiac. You can count on him to be a loyal friend. He is a cardinal sign, so never, ever mistake his kindness for weakness. If you betray him, like Scorpio, you will find his door closed to you( and, most likely, for a long time, if not forever) Capricorn has great ambition. He can stick to a goal, when others have given up. That trait allows him to rise to the top. He is the cream of the crop and he wants a partner with the highest ideals. Why not? HE has them.

Aquarius Stellium

Aquarius is not a warm fuzzy sign. They tend to show their caring through doing. This may be fine with you, or present a problem, depending on your own chart. Aquarius loves to help, however, it may be from a cool headed distance. Aquarius loves to debate. He may not care which side he is on, as long as he can engage in a good fight.I hate to debate for debates sake, so I shut up and look for an escape hatch when Aquarius does it’s thang.

Pisces Stellium

Pisces is a very sensitive sign. Pisces may write the best poetry, may say the sweetest word, but can they be there when things get tough? They are the most mystical sign, which is all well and good, but if you want practical help, you may want to find a fellow who can put his feel more squarely on the earth plane.

Ten Danger Zone Aspects

399333_488163031227347_229937249_n

I do not mean danger, as in life or death. I mean danger, as in the yellow light——-CAUTION. However, few of us learn our lessons the easy way. I don’t. I learn by falling in the same hole, over and over. Hopefully, little by little, I fall in less and less, until I walk around it—classic Ziggy. Seriously, though, there are danger aspects and let’s explore some of them.

1. Neptune Square Venus

This native, through no fault of her own finds the frog and makes him into a prince. Find a few trusted friends, who have keen acumen, and let them give you their opinions and LISTEN

2. Lucifer Conjunct the Ascendant or Sun

You do not need to be the best, have the best opinion or be the smartest. You can accept yourself as a flawed human. You will make more friends with humility than arrogance. Humility takes the ability to listen and face oneself, so do so, and you will feel much batter( as will those who are around you)

3. Dejanira Conjunct the Ascendant or Moon

Try to assess the way you talk to yourself. With these placements, you may feel very lowly about yourself. It is not true. You were made to rise, not fall. You were made to shine, not hunker in the corner. Dejanira can make for a high does of low self esteem, which is no fun. Try, Try, Try to love yourself. You are only human and we all are so very flawed. You are not worse!

4. Nemesis Conjunt the Moon

Your mother may have been a secret enemy i.e undermining you. You may have adversarial relationships with women, as a result of a basic mistrust of them. Try to realize that not all women are the same. This applies to every group of people, of course. You will have to challenge your own instinctive reactions here.

5. Nemesis Conjunct the Sun

Your dad may have been a secret enemy, undermining you in covert ways *Sigh* You may expect this behavior from men, hence fostering that of which you are afraid.

6. Earth Void

This is mine. I am a true earth void. No planets at all in earth, although I do have some planets in earth houses, which does help. We need a few grounded friends and family to help us organize the simplest thing. Also, be kind and call a week ahead if you want to visit.

7. Chaos conjunct the Sun or Ascendant

You may stir up drama/trouble, without being aware of it, of course. You may tend to carry the Pig Pen cloud of dust a la Charlie Brown. As with most things, we need an honest friend to tell us the truth about ourselves. This friend is worth more than gold. Find someone and LISTEN. No chart is the fault of the native. God gave us our charts and only He knows why, but God is love!

8. Unaspected Moon

You do so much for everyone else, but forget about yourself. You are, probably, an amazing friend and family member. Learning the balance of giving to others and taking care of ourselves is hard for anyone, but for the Unaspected Moon, it is much harder.

9. Saturn Conjunct Venus

Saturn can make one hard on oneself. Hence, when Saturn touches Venus in a conjunction or hard aspect, we may have a person who is a gorgeous swan but sees every flaw of the ugly duckling. Her lesson is that you don’t have to be perfect to be lovable.

10. Chiron Conjunct the Sun

This native may have had a very, very painful relationship with his father. The way the father talked to him seems to be embedded in his mind and becomes his manner of self talk. I am sure we can all relate, but this native has a harder struggle than many.

Five Asteroids and Their Theme Songs

There is nothing like music to make something come alive. Astrology is no exception. If you are a fuddy duddy type and find offense in just getting down and chillaxin with some good tunes, please move on because this Gemini loves to have fun!

Cupido

There is a song which is perfectly suited to Cupido, which is the look of love, without the heart involvement. Let’s make it simple. This could be the guy you meet at the bar, who teases you with sweet nothings to get you to go back to his place. You, stupidly, believe that he really cares and you ARE that special. We have all been there, so don’t be ashamed. Astrology is all about facing yourself. If not, life has no meaning *Sigh*
Thank you, Brittany, for the perfect Cupido song!

Casanova
This is from the opera Don Giovanni. This selection shows the servant of Don Giovanni telling a woman who loves Don Giovanni that Don Giovanni has seduced hundreds of women around the world. She is, simply, one in a list. I know I have experienced this and doubt I am alone, and this guy, probably, went through hundreds, too.

Nessus

Nessus is the asteroid of abuse. We, all, have one. It may or may not not be dominant in our natal charts. Hence, the struggle with wanting to be abusive varies in people. A prominent Nessus would be conjunct the Sun, Mars, the Ascendant, and the MC.

Echo

Echo has lost her authentic voice. Many people struggle with this. It is easier to people please and to go along to get along than to STAND Up and be counted. However, one must stand up and be counted, if one is to have any self respect. I have Echo conjunct Saturn. That which conjuncts Saturn makes for a struggle. My biggest struggle may be to find my authentic voice and be brave enough to share it. If one is not an authentic person, one is a ball of mush, having no core and changing to please all people.

Lucifer

Lucifer is not evil, as most people think. It is pride. It is the kind of pride in which the native has to upstage others. He has to be better than, smarter than and know more than others. The Lucifer Asteroid refers, specifically, to spiritual pride, as Lucifer wanted to be God and not serve God. However, I find that all sorts of pride come forth with a prominent Lucifer asteroid. A Prominent Lucifer asteroid would be conjunct the Sun, Mars, Ascendant, MC and North Node.

This is from “Annie, Get Your Gun” and perfectly illustrates Lucifer.

I got a request for the upbeat asteroids, as well as the struggles. You wish is my command, so H-E-R-E goes.

Europa (52)

Europa is glamor. If the person appears as if they have an extra dose of charisma, run and check their Europa. I have this conjunct the Sun. Each person has gifts and struggles. That is the nature of the charts, but I found the perfect song for Europa. ENJOY!

Dejanira(157)

Life is not all beauty and roses. If you must make it this way, there is something wrong with you. I like to live in reality. That is what good mental/emotional health is all about. if you can face yourself, you can have a wonderful life and bless others, too.

To that end, we have a sad asteroid, the asteroid of the victim. As with Nessus, everyone has one. For some people, it is highlighted. For others, it is not. However, remember, that one can have an asteroid that is not highlighted in the natal but be activated in synastry.

Child(4580)

The Child asteroid is the sweet, child part of all of us. Let’s take it out more and rejoice in it. If you have a prominent Child asteroid, you will have a lovely childlike spirit. In synastry, these aspects make for the kind of trusting love we had as children. We can play and let loose when we find a person who activates our Child asteroid.

Valentine (447}
Valentine may be the asteroid with the truest love. He will throw himself in front of a bus for his beloved. Bruno has kind of a witch for a girlfriend, but HE is teaching us about Valentine.

Apollo Asteroid

Apollo is the asteroid of worship. For example, if you really look up to someone, your Apollo may conjunct an important part of their chart. This works the other way, too. If a person touches your Apollo, they will worship/look up to you

I love South Park music. Hope you do, too.

Are You Plutonian?

A veil 2

This question came to me when I realized that I have many Pluto parallels. I did not realize that I was as Plutonian as I am. My natal chart, sans parallels, shows me as vanilla .However, that never really fit. Pluto is dark, dark chocolate.Everyone has a dose of Pluto, but not everyone is Plutonian.

In the natal chart, a strong Pluto would be shown by Pluto conjunct the Ascendant or MC. It would be shown by Mars in Scorpio. It would be shown by aspects to Pluto with personal planets such as the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars. The trines make for a relatively easy flow of Pluto’s energy. The squares make for struggles in using the powerful tides of Pluto and not getting caught on the sand bar.

Let’s ask a few questions and see where you stand with the mighty, fearsome and awesome Pluto.

1. If someone will not stop harassing you, do you make sure they regret it?

2. Do you like to be the leader?

3. Do you tend to lead people, rather than be led, when in a group?

4. Do you have radar -like insight?

5. Are you superlative in reading between the lines?

6. Can you sense the hidden motivations in people?

7. Can you tell the areas in which a person is vulnerable?

8. Do you stand up for those who are bullied?

9. Do you abhor phoniness?

10. Do you like to read books, see movies or listen to music that deals with the dark passions?

Three Aspects I Can Tell in a Man

sexy guy tattoo

I love to meet people and then check charts. Am I always right? Mostly 😀

I will tell you about the aspects I can scope out in men. People will ask me why not women? I can’t feel aspects the same way in women.

1. Venus Trine Moon

This is the charmer aspect. However, it is not a snake oil salesman. It is true charm. It feels wonderful in a non oily way. Today, someone came to my house. I was sure he had Moon trine Venus, but i could not ask for his birth date. He came to move some furniture but I wanted to scoop him up and kiss him because he was so darn adorable.

2.Mars in Scorpio

This is my favorite Mars placement, although I am a little afraid of him. One can never lie to him, even a tiny, white fib. He has the radar of a stealth bomber. He will not abide any phoniness. This is a high bar but he is worth it. A Mars in Scorpio guy is like a Ferrari–sleek, black and new. He makes you feel like a natural woman. He is the sexiest guy on the planet. So, one has to be brutally honest about one’s emotions. It will do

Moon square Mars

This will get me in trouble with some guys. This aspect is a dislike of women. People get angry when I say this, so I will fudge a little and say a mistrust of women. Feel better? I cannot feel this aspect in men unless I know them. There is kind of a subtle hostility. It can be sexy, if one is a little weird like I am. It makes for a bit of a bad boy feel. If one marries one, one will get to know this aspect better because it manifests with time.

Nature Or Nurture—-Why Are You Like You Are?

girl rainbow hands

This question has been asked by many, many psychologists. I have a Masters Degree in Counseling, so have studied many of the Psychology theories. I don’t think much of Psychology. I think it is the study of the Id by the Odd. However, that is a subject for another time.

I think Astrology can answer the deeper questions that Psychology ATTEMPTS but can not answer or answers in a willy-nilly way that makes little practical sense i.e verbiage. To me, Astrology CAN answer the question of nature vs nurture. This is my opinion after doing thousands of charts. I know other astrologers differ.

I get flashes of intuition. Many of my articles come from this, as this one does.

I think that one’s nature is determined by the chart. I think one’s gifts are revealed by the chart. I think one’s struggles are revealed by the chart. I do not think a square can be overcome, per se. I think one can use that struggle as a way to mature but I think the struggle will remain throughout life. Many astrologers differ.

I think that one’s relationship with one’s parents is REVEALED by the chart. Hence, it is nature, rather than nurture which sets forth our early childhood. Many people differ on this.

Some charts are very much harder than others. These natives have a much harder time navigating life. However, every person seems to have deep and painful struggles

Chiron highlights some of our struggles, by house and aspects. I think this gives one a peace that one’s struggles are not one’s fault.

This seems to be one of my main messages when I do charts. It is not your fault that you were victimized. You had a prominent Dejanira, most likely. It is not your fault that you fly off the handle. This could be Moon conjunct Mars, as well as other aspects. It is not one’s fault that one may be somewhat emotionally clueless. This may be a water void.

People struggle with feeling like they failed. I know I do. I doubt I am alone

The chart can show you YOU. This is the gift that Astrology makes to all of us.

I will add that I do think a true relationship with Jesus can take us above the level of the chart, which is of a material nature. However, I do think that one’s gifts and one’s struggles remain the same until one loses one’s ego in the next life.

Another Aspect I Can Tell in Men—Venus in Scorpio

A color eye make up

This is another aspect I can pick up in men. I will go to any lengths to teach, so bear with some of my analogies. I have come to know this aspect from MISTAKING Mars in Scorpio for Venus in Scorpio.. These men had a Mars in Scorpio feel, but they were Venus in Scorpio.

Here comes my way out analogy. I see a Venus in Scorpio as a constipated Mars in Scorpio. What I mean by this is that the Venus in Scorpio man has ALL the passion and intensity of the Mars in Scorpio but he simmers and brews with it( i.e as in brewing tea), rather than acting.

Venus is passive. Things are done to it. Mars acts. He does things to the world. If Mars in Scorpio is simmering, he will go after the target of his simmering. Venus in Scorpio will not, generally speaking.

You can use this information to do your own research and it will be fun!

The Difference Between the Trine and the Sextile( Part 2)

$

0

This is Part Two because I have had more time to meditate on the subject.I am the foremost guinea pig in my research. I am a good test subject because I have Sun and Mercury TRINES with Neptune. I have Sun and Mercury SEXTILES with Pluto.

The trines are an effortless gift. Ever notice how a beautiful woman pays little attention when you compliment her beauty. Notice how a brilliant woman pays little attention when you compliment her mind. This is the case because these gifts are EFFORTLESS.

I use these every day examples to explain the trine.

The sextile could be called a buried trine. Think of buried treasure. One has to dig it up. It, often, can be lying quite deeply in the ground. The sextile needs to be cultivated. I had an organic garden. I had to water it every day. I saved coffee grinds for tomatoes and aloes. I bough Azomite, an amazing, organic fertilizer which made the vegetables grow so big that they looked like mutants.

I had to CULTIVATE my garden, in order to it to grow and fruit.

The sextile will remain buried without positive attention. It may be ambient or a few decibels above ambient but it will not blossom if one does not pay attention to it’s needs.

One must focus on one’s sextiles. One must research the nature of the sextiles. Study the trines if there is more information. Then, look deep within to find the gifts. They will be there. After this, practice, practice, practice and you will be a superstar.

I hope this has helped you. I feel more powered up now that I have focused on my Pluto sextiles. Hope you will feel the same about your buried gifts!
